HCM Capacities:
MACHINE SHOP -
Full machine shop facilities, including lathes with up to a maximum capacity of 20 feet between centres and swing-over bed of 27 inches plus swing-over gap of 47 inches. Honing facilities.
FITTING SHOP - Comprehensive with all the latest technologies with plating facilities using selectron processes.
WELDING AND FABRICATION -
With full TIG and MIG equipment, across the full range of materials (including stainless steel and aluminium) also brazing and silver soldering.
TESTING FACILITIES -
Static Test Rig of 110 feet length; testing up to 10,000 PSI and up to 36 gallons per minute.
TORQUE MULTIPLIER -
NESSIE (Nuts of Every Shape and Size Instantly Ejected)-purpose built by HCM giving maximum force of 120,000 foot-pounds with sockets up to 360mm A/F.
PIPE FABRICATION -
Extensive pipe bending facilities from 3/16 inches up to 2.1/2 inches outside diameter using full range of materials (hydraulic, steel, copper).
LIFTING -
Capacity up to 5 tons.
TRADE COUNTER -
Seals, hoses, fittings, adaptors, etc. Comprehensive honed bore tube and chrome plated rod.
