HCM have specialised in the repair, refurbishment and manufacture of Hydraulic Cylinders and associated hydraulic equipment for over 30 years. The company originated in Gloucester in the late 1970's. In those days our company name 'H.C.M.' stood for "Hydraulic and Commercial Manufactures". By the 1980s the business had grown considerably and required more space in order to facilitate the larger cylinders and associated equipment now being processed. By now we were known as Gloucester Hydraulic centre. In the late 1990's due to the expansion of the business, in particular the volume of work being generated from Wales and the Midlands, it was decided to move to South Wales thereby allowing us to satisfy our customer demands for a quicker and more responsive service. This also provided us with the opportunity to acquire a building with enormous potential for further expansion. We have a floor space of approximately 7000sq/ft together with a greater height capacity with overhead crane age and a large expanse of land for storage and demonstration purposes. Our premises are close to the M4 near Swansea and easily accessed by a dual carriageway. It enables us to serve our customers in Wales and England quickly. With this move came our final name change to Hydraulic Cylinder Management. These days our company aim and focus is to return your unit on time, with quality workmanship at a competitive price. We undertake projects across the UK and throughout the world. These have ranged from complete installations to our current programme of refurbishment of MOD equipment. QUALITY ASSURANCE ALL ROUND. |
